The „neue Bühne Senftenberg” would like to offer Ukrainian children and young people a weekly meeting space for three months, starting in October 2022, where they can engage with non-verbal forms of performance in a protected setting. Conception, direction and overall artistic responsibility of these workshops. Beyond the language barrier, the body is the starting point for artistic processes. Focused methodical guidance and improvisation processes result in small artistic units that can be combined and presented in a performance collage at the end of the project. In terms of sustainability, the aim is to subsequently integrate the Ukrainian children and young people into the existing drama groups of the “junge Bühne Senftenberg”. The fee covers the conception and implementation of the 12 workshop events.
