The Opera Chorus of the Oldenburg State Theater (Oldenburgisches Staatstheater) is looking for guests for voice types: Soprano / Alto / Tenor / Bass for the following production:

Elijah –Mendelssohn- 10 staged performances in German
Premiere: December 4, 2022
Last performance (as of now): April 5, 2023

Audition dates:
May 20. / 21. / 23. / 24. / 25. 2022 from 12.30 – 14:00.

Please prepare from Elijah No. 24 „Wehe ihm…“ and No. 29 „Siehe der Hüter…“

Staging rehearsal start: October 11, 2022.

Musical rehearsals with the Opera Chorus starting in September.
The piece will be performed memorized; preparation oft he music beforhand is expected.
